If you have a Built On Shaft Secondary (B.O.S.S.) clutch on your 2016-17 Polaris RZR 1000, you can reduce friction in backshift and upshift by changing out the square slider pucks for the High Performance Torlon® Rollers.Torlon® is a high performance amorphous (non-crystalline) engineering thermoplastic. Chemically, Torlon® is a polyamide-imide (PAI), a reaction product of trimellitic anhydride and aromatic diamines. The combination of aromatic groups and imide linkages are responsible for the polymer’s exceptional thermal stability. The amide groups impart flexibility and elongation, which results in an engineering plastic with exceptional toughness. The result of this is a more consistent tune in different conditions and loads. This upgrade is a must for machines with increased horsepower or big tires.
